About this tour

Discover the ultimate Arctic relaxation at the Uunartoq Hot Springs, where the water remains a delightful 38°C (100°F) year-round. The name Uunartoq, meaning "the hot place", perfectly describes these thermal springs. Nestled on an island about 65 km south of Qaqortoq, near the town of Alluitsup Paa, this hidden gem offers a serene escape.

The journey begins with a picturesque boat ride through Arctic waters dotted with majestic icebergs. As you navigate the stunning fjord, you will be surrounded by towering mountains, and the boat ride provides ample opportunities for whale sightings.

Upon arrival, a changing room is available. Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of the hot springs while drifting icebergs pass by. Remember to bring warm clothing for after your soak, as the Arctic air can be brisk when you leave the pools. Don't forget your swimsuit.
