Hosted by a Greenlandic family, this personalized exchange allows you to participate in an authentic celebration of life’s milestones, whether it be a birthday, graduation, or a baby’s first steps. Your adventure begins at the Greenland Sagalands store, where you’ll meet your guide. From there, enjoy a scenic 15 to 30-minute walk to the host’s home.

Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from your host, who will invite you into their home. Experience firsthand the Greenlandic way of life as your host shares stories, culture, and the significance of the images adorning their walls.

Where is the meeting point?

The meeting point is at the pier "Kongebroen" in Qaqortoq. If you are arriving by cruise, your tender boats will bring you directly to this pier, so no additional transportation is needed to reach us.
